1) Who your visitors are?

Wouldn't it be useful to know if your visitors are male \ female. Their age group. What their e-Mail address is and even their name.

Well it is possible to find out this information but it requires clever marketing techniques and a method of data collection.

2) Where they come from?

Knowing where a visitor to your website come from, in geographical terms, is very important. It allows targeted marketing by offering services or products based on there location. For instance if your a UK business and only sold in the UK. This information could provide you with either a route to a new market or a method of saving money by not sending marketing information.

3) What they do?

Do they read specific articles. Are they contiunally drawn back to the same information. Could they be directed \ funneled to a purcahsing zone.

4) Why they do it?

Are they decision makers \ buyers or are they information gatherers seeking information to provide to the decision makers.
